Hornblende
Amphibole
Actinolite
Hornblende sure had me puzzled and it took me six months of research to figure out what it was. It wasn't until I Googled the "degrees" that I found out. It always forms the same angle in two directions at 56 and 124 degrees. At first I thought these blocks were "Tools" but realized they weren't after finding hundreds of them. Please note they normally have 6 sides, and one side can be very small. I have 2 types (black and green) on my property. Lots of information is on the pictures and please click on the links above for additional data.
